Who do I go to for help?

For curriculum matters, it’s the Academic Director or Senior Instructor. For technology and learning platform help, the contacts are listed at the Helpdesk page here.

What is SunagoLearn, and why do I need to use it?

SunagoLearn (SL) is an online learning platform that facilitates e-learning, giving students/learners a conducive online learning space to acquire their language skills. Besides a Facebook-like community space, SL hosts the e-learning courses and material that learners engage with and tracks their progress as they participate in the learning activities. It is also the gateway to online lessons (called LiveClass) and generates activity reports/data for instructors to use in tailoring to learner needs.

Besides SunagoLearn, what other portals or sites do learners/instructors need to connect to?

As ELS works with Cengage National Geographic, its content publisher, more online learning activities are provided by Natgeo’s learning platform. In line with ELS’s printed coursebook material, selected activities are a requisite part of the course (homework).
